I've Won a Place in the Finals!

OMFG!

Absolutely over the moon right now!

I was encouraged to enter a competition by my friends at The Bookstars. It's for 'From Book to Screen' catergory at The White Rose Film Festival, which basically means 'this book would make a dead good film/show'.

I was shocked to even be entered because even though I spent three days writing a script treatment, I was unable to pay the entry fee as the deadline was December and that was too close to Christmas. (ALL my December money goes towards Christmas)

So imagine my surprise when I saw a nominations list on the WRFF Tiktok with a big 'ol Fat Bob's Cover! Someone saw my script treatment and believed in it enough to submit it for me. I literally saw it five minutes before the livestream announcing the winners. So I threw myself together really quickly and got over to TikTok.

I WON!

WRFF has 6 blocks and the winners will be going to the final event in August when the overall winners will be announced. Very excited and feeling so blessed to be such a new author and winning things already.

Absolutely buzzing my tits off. Watch this space for more big book news!
